Esto connects photographers, architects, designers and editors. The range of services begins with understanding the requirements of an assignment and the anticipated use of the images. To ensure the success of a photo shoot, Esto recommends the right photographer considering special interests and skills, experience, schedule and budget.
Many elements for planning a successful architectural photography project are outlined on the helpful Architectural Photography Checklist, (24 kb PDF), a primer for arranging site photography. This was prepared with ASMP:Architecture and a similar version is now co-published by the AIA.
Once the site photography has been completed, Esto supervises post-production work and delivery of high-resolution, pre-press quality digital files. As a liaison to the design press, final images are archived in the Esto library, an important photo source for writers, scholars, editors and publishers worldwide.
