David was raised in St Louis, studied in New York and Paris and graduated from NYU with a degree in photography. With a keen sensitivity to the way light and time impact the perception of space, David creates dynamic images that convey the complex and varied aspects of a project.
Sundberg is actively involved with the latest developments in architecture and travels worldwide on assignment. Noteworthy buildings in his portfolio include the Olympic Stadium in Beijing by Herzog & de Meuron, Frank Gehry's 8 Spruce Street and the Bank of America Tower by Cook + Fox in New York. David is closely documenting the construction of One World Trade Center from his kitchen window and from other viewpoints in lower Manhattan.
