“It’s when we start working together that the real creative process begins. Having a shared objective, yet seeing it from different professional points of view, makes the end results very dynamic.”
Peter Mauss began his career as a fine art photographer and now concentrates on documenting architecture and landscape design. He is actively involved in the architectural preservation movement and collaborated on the book Terra Cotta Skyline with Susan Tunick.
He has worked with the Olin Partnership and Ken Smith on monographs of their work; and has illustrated two books on Dan Snow, the dry stonewall sculptor: In the Company of Stone and Listening to Stone.
Peter divides his time between New York City and Marlboro, Vermont.
